The Dryden Neighbourhood Legacy Program has announced its first project aimed at keeping young people off the streets.
The program, launched by the Dryden Police Service earlier this year, was established to ensure Dryden-area youth have something to do and somewhere to go.
Dryden Police Chief Shane MacKinnon says the city will soon be home to three new volleyball courts.
MacKinnon says donations have come in to build courts in North Dryden, Pronger Park and Plumridge Park.
He says there are also plans to build an improved youth centre and even an amphitheatre.
