Dryden Police Chief Shayne MacKinnon is commending the Dryden and District Agricultural Society for not opening a beer gardens at the Fall Fair again this year.
From a police standpoint, he says the fair was very successful with few disturbances reported.
MacKinnon notes only four charges under the liquor licence act were laid during the event.
MacKinnon adds the fair has become more family oriented where you do not have to worry about intoxicated people on the grounds.
