A familiar face is seeking the nomination for the Liberal Party in the riding of Kenora for the upcoming federal election.
Former Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development Bob Nault made the announcement Thursday morning.
Nault says over the past 9 years he’s seen our country moving in the wrong direction.
He says the Conservative government has failed at creating jobs, failed at building infrastructure and failed at improving our economy.
Nault says the North needs strong leadership.
Nault was the MP for Kenora-Rainy River for over 16 years.
If Nault wins the nomination he will be running against Kenora MP Greg Rickford.
