The City of Dryden has presented their drafted budget for 2018.
Major highlights include a zero percent property tax levy increase as well as infrastructure investments including road work on Thunder Lake Road and Colonization Avenue.
Treasurer Steven Lansdell-Roll also says one of the challenges is the City’s large infrastructure deficit and he also says the budget isn’t final as other smaller changes could happen in the next weeks and months.
Lansdell-Roll also says it includes 3.68 million dollars of debt-servicing costs which is the highest it has been in the history of the municipality.
