Former MPP Frank Miclash has decided that he will not run in the next provincial election.
The Liberal reprentative of the old Kenora Riding for 12 years says he wants to spend more time working on the Social Benefits Tribunal.
As a member of the Tribunal, Miclash is responsible for hearing appeals under Ontario Works and the Disability Support Program Acts.
He says he will miss working with local constituents but is not ruling out a return to politics in the future.
Miclash lost to Howard Hampton in 1999 when the Kenora and Rainy River Ridings merged.
