Kenora-Rainy River MP Bob Nault says he is not too worried about a recent decision by the chiefs of the Assembly of First Nations.
The chiefs recently passed a resolution calling for Nault to resign as Minister of Indian Affairs.
Nault says these kinds of resolutions are not very helpful.
But he adds despite the decision, he is confident that he can work with the Assembly of First Nations.
He feels the A-F-N needs to restructure itself so it can work with the federal government instead of just being a voice of opposition.
