March is fraud prevention month, and the Ontario Provincial Police are reminding the public to keep an eye on their identification documents.
OPP Constable Dave Cain says Health Cards, Drivers Licences and Social Insurance Numbers can be misused by scam artists.
Cain adds criminals have been known to steal health cards to access medical services for which they are not entitled or to create a new identity.
