The Canadian Junior Hockey League has announced its finalists for Coach of the Year.
Dryden GM Ice Dogs bench boss Kurt Walsten made the shortlist but didn't make the final five.
Walsten did receive honourable mention out of the 132 member teams in Canada and the United States.
Walsten led the Ice Dogs to their best season in franchise history with 45 wins and 94 points.
He was named Coach of the Year in the SIJHL.
