A number of local anglers were in the hunt at the Kenora Walleye Open on the weekend.
The tournament was eventually won by Dean McCammon of Sioux Narrows and Anthony Paoni of Scottsdale, Arizona.
They finished with a two day total of 27.13-pounds of fish.
Jay Samsal and Scott Dingwall finished third, only .45 pounds behind the lead.
Dryden’s Travis Tourond and former resident Brandon Kamm were ninth at 23.32-pounds, while Dryden’s Jeff and Matt Park finished tenth with 22.90-pounds of walleye.
