The stage is set for a new Superior International Junior Hockey League season.
Team reps met in Dryden this past weekend for the Annual General Meeting.
Ice Dogs President Mike Sveinson says it was a great gathering and he believes the league is headed in the right direction.
The organization called for some changes and their wishes were granted at the meeting.
One of the biggest changes sees an Independent Review Board in place to review player suspensions and fines.
The old disciplinary system caught the ire of the Ice Dogs last season and early in the off-season and Sveinson called on the league to make changes.
Sveinson says he was encouraged with the cooperation among all team officials and their vision to ensure junior hockey remains strong in our area.
