The wait to #bringbillhome may finally soon be over for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
The Ice Dogs exploded for four goals in a span of 1:22 in the second period en route to a convincing 8-2 win over the English River Miners Tuesday in front of a packed house at the Cochenour Arena.
Dryden GM was up 3-0 before Michael Di Lullo and Dante Raposo made things close with a pair of powerplay goals.
Eagle Lake's Matthew Pitchenese led Dryden GM with his first two SIJHL playoff goals, while Garrett Giertuga also netted his first league postseason goal.
Nic Noseworthy, Jacen Bracko, Garrett Graham, Braeden Allkins and Derek McPhail also scored.
Dryden GM outshot English River 41-30.
The Ice Dogs can win their third ever Bill Salonen Cup in Game 4 Thursday in Cochenour.
