It was a back and forth affair but in the end the Dryden Ice Dogs fell 3-1 to the Fort William First Nations North Stars in Thunder Bay friday night. The Ice Dogs evened the game midway through the second period when Tyler MacDonald scored on the power play. The North Stars moved ahead to stay midway through the third and added an empty netter to score the game one win. Liam Johnston faced 44 shots in the losing effort. In game 2 Saturday night the North Stars walked away with an easier 5-1 victory. Games 3 and 4 of the best of 7 are set for the Dryden Dog Pound this Friday and Saturday night.
