Ice Dogs Drop Miners In Another Fiesty Affair

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs scored a powerplay goal and their SIJHL leading seventh shorthanded goal in a 4-1 win over visiting English River Friday night.

Eric Stout led the Ice Dogs attack with two goals, while Cory Dennis and Evan Walls added singles.

Spencer Milne scored the Miners lone goal on a third period powerplay.

Dryden GM outshot English River 46-24.

Westin Cardwell was once again sensational for the Miners, while Jacob Gnidziejko picked up his second win.

In other action, the Thief River Falls Norskies remain perfect with a come from behind 4-3 overtime win in Thunder Bay.

Fort Frances defeated Minnesota 5-3.
