Ice Dogs Draw First Blood In SIJHL Final

It was a balanced attack for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs as they continued their home dominance with a 5-2 win over English River to open the Bill Salonen Cup.

The 'Killer B's" once again came up big as Braedyn Aubin  scored two and Braeden Allkins also found the back of the net.

Chris Atanas and Trey Palermo added singles.

Braeden Pearce and Austin Kuhn replied for the Miners.

Dryden GM outshot the Miners 47-31.

Game 2 of the SIJHL Final is Saturday at 7:30.

917 fans enjoyed a great game in Game #1.

The Ice Dogs haven't lost an actual game on home ice since November 25th.
