The Sioux Lookout Hurricanes have won their first league title in Dryden Senior Soccer playoff history.
The Hurricanes defeated the Pelicans in the All-Sioux Lookout Final 1-0.
Blair Bresson earned the shutout, while veteran defender Jon Salo scored on a deflected free kick from 25-yards out for the games only goal.
The team has played in the league for several years and includes a number of second generation Hurricane players.
The Sioux Lookout Old Boys repeated as regular season champions.
The league’s top scorer this year was Stephen Laidlaw of the Dryden United.
