On March 28, 2018, I lost my best friend, confidant, soul mate, and rock - my husband Harvey Gauthier.
Harvey was a family man, and loved his children - especially his grandchildren Sarah and Michael. Harvey always put the needs of others ahead of his own. His tender nature and smile was contagious. A Tool and Die Maker by trade, but small engine mehanic, welder, and pool installer were a few of his many talents. His love for nature and the outdoors brought him to Dryden.
Harvey was very athletic and enjoyed a few years with the Dryden Ladies Hockey League, teaching us to become better players. His passion for canoeing led to his love for kayaking with his wife Sherry. Harvey touched the life of many paddlers (who became his extended family) There was always a twinkle in his eyes when he was on the water, but that twinkle shone the brightest with his wife on his arm.
Harvey will be greatly missed by his loving wife Sherry, brother Ernie, son Tim, and grandchildren Sarah and Michael.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place in Dryden in July with family and friends. Date and time to be announced later.
