Your 2009 Atikokan Bass Classic Champions - Glenn Leroux and Trevor Zimak - hoist up the big Bass Classic trophy in front of a roaring crowd under the tent on Main Street. Congratulations on an impressive catch - over 21 pounds BOTH DAYS!!

"Oh yeah? Well, our fish are THIS BIG!" Glenn Leroux and Trevor Zimak needed a big weight Saturday to win the 22nd annual Atikokan Bass Classic - and they got it! They had three more just like these two, to finish the tournament with 42.08lbs of bass. 21.07 on day one - and 21.01 on day two! Talk about consistent!!

Kim and Aaron Wiens were looking hopeful to win it all, with over 40 pounds of bass, including these two hawgs weighed in on Saturday, but were bumped down into third place by the end of the weigh-ins - up two spots from a 5th place finish on day one of the 22nd annual Atikokan Bass Classic.

Tammy Mattson hoists up a couple of big hawgs she and hubby Jason brought up to the scale Saturday at the 22nd annual Atikokan Bass Classic. The duo ended up 4th overall, with 39.22lbs of smallies over two days.

Who is looking at who? There are some fishy faces staring from both sides of a 650 gallon fish tank on the stage at the the 22nd annual Atikokan Bass Classic. These 'big hawgs' were tagged before they are released back into the lake.

That's what it's all about - some big hawgs! There were plenty of them over 5 pounds being weighed in at the the 22nd annual Atikokan Bass Classic.

Who the heck says you need a big, fancy boat to take part in a fishing tournament??? James Burns and Branwyn Hughes brought in 11.65lbs of bass by paddling their canoe across Upper and Lower Marmion Lakes in the the 22nd annual Atikokan Bass Classic.

"Mmmmm ... tastes like money!" We know they kiss the cod in Newfoundland, but apparently they lick the bass for luck in Atikokan! A big fish in the basket is plenty of reason to be excited during the the 22nd annual Atikokan Bass Classic.
