The pair met with fans at Time-Out Sports, and managed to get lined up under their respective jerseys. Dryden was in Dryden to speak during our Centennial opening ceremonies. [A. Riley photo] The Dryden District Chamber of Commerce hosted a Centennial Street Fair yesterday (August 4) on King Street in downtown Dryden - which included opportunities to have your picture taken in the NAPA race car, a classic Jaguar, or this mini chopper! The Street Fair was well received, with sidewalk sales, buskers, and plenty of entertainment. [Chamber photo] Ministry of Natural Resources Fire personnel from Northwestern Ontario board a plane for the long trip to B.C. The MNR is sending another 100 firefighters out west. Carr photo) Toronto-based "Aberdeen" was heading for their western Canada Tour when their van broke down in Dryden! Forced to cancel their tour, they spent Homecoming Week in Dryden, opened for "Stereos" at the Centre, played the Youth Dance at the High School and were 'Rockin the River' at the Lodge!
