The Award is for the Public School Board's role in establishing a Youth Centre at DHS. Dryden Mayor Anne Krassilowsky also received a similar award for the City's role in the popular centre. (Nov. 19; Staff) Joanne Kusnick, President of the Dryden Rotary Club presents Brenda McGogy and Darlene Furlong of the 'Still Me Program' at the Dryden Regional Health center with a cheque of $ 1000 to be used in the Still me program. The funds are a portion of the proceeds from Rotary Radio Bingo. It was one last hurrah for the Dryden Hog and Rod crew Saturday afternoon. They made an appearance during the Festival of Trees luncheon to present Grace Haven with a check for just over $930. Grace Haven was an annual recipient of equipment and funds from Hog and Rod since the very first year. [C. Pollard photo] Dryden's Andy McIsaac is a finalist in The Score's "Get Drafted" competition. He recently had the chance to read to, talk, and sing with Ms. Boyko's and Mrs. Currie's grade 3 classes at New Prospect School. He read Robert Munsch's "I Have To Go" and spoke about how important it is to read. They also sang a song Andy wrote for the contest.
