After visiting Dryden, the Olympic Torch Relay made a brief stop in Vermilion Bay - our thanks to Judy for sending along this great picture!

VANOC officials visiting Dryden were so impressed with the Inukshuks created last week for the arrival of the Olympic flame that they came back to stage some photos for the VANOC website. The Dryden event had to be moved indoors due to extreme cold.

Dryden's Olympic Inukshuks on the shores of Wabigoon Lake. Each was aprox. seven feet tall.

She was the youngest of our Olympic Torch Bearers - 13 year old Olivia Carter of Dryden with CKDR's Richard McCarthy

The staff at Dryden GM did their part yesterday to keep the Olympic Torch moving across Canada, after one of the Coca Cola vehicles ran into some problems. Owner Nick Beyak carries the torch, and everyone received souvenir Coke glow bottles for their efforts.
