Madill coach Ean Moffat let the girls get ready at his family farm in between their last game and and banquet. Thanks Ean and congrats on your girls winning gold. The venue is home to the Elmira Sugar Kings Jr. B Hockey club. It was a successful, fun filled afternoon at the Dryden Ukrainian Literary Society this Sunday. Jeannette Denby and Lorraine Wyder helped these children learn a part of the culture, by making Ukrainian Easter eggs. They were able to take home their creations. [J. Denby photo] Kim Crossley, Clint Gottiger, and Cindy Richards are the latest semi-finalists in the $3,000 Karaoke Contest! Due to Good Friday there will not be any qualifier on the 2nd. That makes April 9th the last night to try out! The semi-finals are Saturday, April 17th, finals on April 24th. This week's $3,000 Karaoke Contest semi-finalists are Brittany Kamm, Jessica Petit, and Veronica Lowe. Only two more weeks to try to earn your place in the semi-finals!!
