(May 26; Dryden Fire Service) A MNR Waterbomber attacks a large fire on Thunder Lake. A Harris Crescent home was destroyed but several neighbouring homes were saved. See CKDR News for more information. (May 26; T.Stemkoski) A Ministry of Natural Resources waterbomber was just leaving the Dryden Airport when it noticed smoke in the Thunder Lake area. Bomber quickly dives down to pick up water and attack fire. See CKDR News for more information. (May 26; S. Ellery) Two people are in Hospital with unknown injuries after a serious two vehicle collision. The Dryden Fire Service says the crash occurred Tuesday morning (May 25) around 10 o'clock at the intersection of Duke Street and Whyte Avenue. Officials say a half ton truck and a motorcycle collided. Dryden Police are investigating. The Northwoods Inn in Ignace held a fundraising jamboree for the Dryden Regional Health Centre CT fund. Musicians came from across the Region to entertain a crowd of about 70. $1,616.12 was raised in total with bands from Kakabeka Falls, Dryden, Ignace, Eagle River.
