The black bear finally decides to make his move. The bear hops into the trap, stayed in the trap for about a minute then ran out of the trap bait in mouth. The bear returned again to check out the trap, but the lack of bait disinterested this clever bear. (August 31, 2010)

Apparently this bear wasn't so concerned with the warning placed on the bear trap. The bear stalked the trap for about an hour and a half Tuesday morning. (August 31, 2010)

The Totem Lodge in Sioux Narrows was the designated "lunch stop" for the 2010 "Ride for Memories" for the Alzheimer's Society of Kenora Rainy-River. Riders from Red Lake to Fort Frances, Sioux Lookout to Kenora and almost all points in between took part. (walchuk)
