Lokah Sangha Yoga in Dryden was packed with fundraiser participants Thursday night.
In the Dark events are CNIB event fundraisers that promote awareness of sight loss and blindness.
And this year marks 100 years of the charitable organization.
The organization also celebrates another significant milestone, as it will now be provincally funded.
All participants wore blindfolds during the yoga session to simulate what a person with loss of vision encounters.
Wendy Wiedenhoeft of Dryden is a member of the CNIB board and spoke before the session began.
Wiedenhoeft talked about her family connection to the cause, as her grandson was born blind.
The story touched many hearts as she told her personal story.
Owner of Lokah Shangha Yoga, Carly Brown says it was wonderful to see so much community support for the cause.
All donations raised will support CNIB programs and services that assist the visually impaired and their famillies.
