The Dryden GM Ice Dogs are hoping for a sellout crowd Saturday night for its DREAM “Hometown Proud” fundraising game with the Red Lake Miners.
Game time is 7:30 at the Memorial Arena, with the Dryden Kinsman hosting a beer gardens.
DREAM Co-Chair Janice Radburn says one of the fundraising opportunities is a penny auction, with several great prizes, including handmade hockey stick furniture.
She says Goal Post will be selling a special “Hometown Proud” hamburger, with proceeds going towards DREAM and the Ice Dogs.
Lori Russell of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs says there will also be a unique, one-of-a-kind program featuring all three local players.
With the purchase of a program, your name will be entered into a draw for a 55-inch television donated by Canadian Tire.
Russell says they will also be raffling off a team autographed stick in a “Toonie Draw”.
There will also be events and activities on and off the ice during the intermissions.
