Eagles One Win Away From A Friday Sweep

If a Dryden Eagles team was in action they were winners in a busty day of Norwossa playoff action. In Boys hockey the Eagles scored a 4-3 OT win over the Red Lake Rams to take a 1-0 series lead in the best of three semi finals. Ben Bartlett scored a hat trick including the game winner 3:21 into the extra frame. Scott Lund added a single for the Eagles. Brevan Gawley Tyler Rolfe and David Weese each tallied for the Rams while Matthew Sidders faced 64 shots in the loss. Game 2 in Sunday in Cochenour at 5:00 p.m.

In Girls hockey action the Eagels oppened up their best of three series with a 4-1 win over the Muskies on home Ice. Megan Pinette, Sarah Montgomery and Nicki Kruger all scored for the Eagles. Kerri Andersopn faced 12 shots between the pipes. Game 2 shifts to Fort Frances Sunday.
