It’s mission accomplished. The Dryden Eagle boys highschool hockey team did what they had to do to secure home ice advantage in the NORWOSSA semifinal playoffs. The Eagles completed a 2 game sweep of the Red Lake Rams at the Dryden arena Monday afternoon with an 8-1 victory. The Eagles Ben Bartlett led the way with 4 goals. The Eagles finish the regular season one point ahead of the Rams and will host game one of the best of 3 semifinal against Red Lake this Friday night at 7:30 at the Dryden arena.
Meanwhile the Eagle girls finished their regular season on a high note. The girls beat the Rams 13-0. Dryden will now face the Fort Frances Muskies in the semifinals starting Friday in Dryden.
