A solid defensive effort coupled with a relentless attack powered the
Dryden Eagles to an 8-1 win over the Red Lake Rams in Boys NORWOSSA Hockey
Tuesday night.
The Eagles out shot the Rams 59-16 and got a 3-goal effort from Brian
Montgomery.
Scott Lund chipped in with 2, while Shawn Capovilla, Jared Krantz and Austin Heile added singles.
Cody Jeffries ruined Curtis Lampkin’s shutout bid, scoring with under
3-minutes left to play.
Dryden will have to wait another day to clinch first place, as Fort
Frances beat Kenora 4-1.
In Girls play, Kenora upended Fort Frances 6-2.
