The amazing ride for the Dryden Eagle Boys Soccer team will continue.
The Eagles upset the heavily favorite Hammersjold Vikings in the
NWOSSA Final by winning 2-games at DHS Saturday.
After dropping the opener Friday, Dryden stormed back with a 3-0 win
in Game 2 and a 3-1 victory in the winner take all finale.
In that Final game, the Eagles spotted the Vikings a 1-0 lead
before Brian Montgomery tied the match.
Jordan Swientek then took over scoring a pair of goals,
including one on a penalty shot.
Dryden now heads to Thunder Bay Thursday for the All-Ontario
Championship.
