A Payton Boyko penalty in overtime that possibly saved a goal ended up turning into a goal for the Dryden Eagles in a 5-4 win over Fort Frances in Girls High School Hockey Wednesday night.

After watching her teammates kill off the penalty, Boyko leaped out of the box to grab a loose puck and score on a breakaway midway through the extra frame to give Dryden the dramatic win.

Lindy Leclerc forced overtime with a powerplay goal, while Cali Lappage added two and Zoe Lynch also found the back of the net.

Hannah Zilkalns made some key saves to hand the Muskies their first loss of the season.
