The mother of a Dryden man serving in Afghanistan is sending our troops
a special gift.
Nola Hill recently sold 600-dog tags to area residents in order to
purchase big screen tv’s and entertainment units.
The entertainment centers, with support from Gould’s Furniture, have been
sent to Canadian Forces Bases in Kandahar and Kabul for our troops to enjoy
during downtime.
Nola’s son, Bill, has been serving in Afghanistan as a driver for
General Rick Hillier.
He is scheduled to leave the area on Monday and will arrive back home
next week.
Master Corporal Justin Kirkpatrick, Jessica Jones and Amanda Diamond
have also been proudly representing Dryden overseas.
