In loving memory of Barbara Stephanie Sandra Ernewein, born in Dryden Ontario, on March 25, 1944.
Barbara was a loyal and generous friend to all who had the pleasure to know her. She was very family oriented, enjoyed cooking for the family, and spending time with her grandchildren Kristopher and Kayla. Barbara also took great pride in watching her two sons Terry and Tim stock car race and was their most vocal and dedicated fan. She thoroughly enjoyed watching Winston Cup racing and was devastated by the loss of racecar driver Dale Earnhardt. By trade, Barbara was a hairdresser and took great pride in cutting family and friend’s hair. Her love for the outdoors lead to many fishing and camping expeditions, as well as being a Reserve Lieutenant in the Dryden Sea Cadets. When it came to gardening and houseplants, she had a green thumb. She also enjoyed spending time doing crafts and sewing.

In tears we saw you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
You suffered much in silence,
You fought so hard to stay.
You faced your task with courage,
Your spirit did not bend,
But still you kept on fighting
Until the very end.
God saw you getting tired
When a cure was not to be,
So when we saw you sleeping
So peaceful, free from pain,
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again.
We love you always,
Until we meet again.
